RFP 25-2020 The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is seeking submissions from qualified organizations to serve as Designated Vendor for an automated policy management software for Policy and Procedure Management.
Policies, the mainstay of SFDPH practice, promote patient/client and staff safety, provide information that guides care, keeps staff informed of newly introduced or updated laws and regulations, and protects the organization from legal and financial harm. Newly introduced or updated laws from regulatory and accreditation bodies require that policies and procedures are kept current.
As SFDPH continues to move forward in developing the San Francisco Health Network, it is important to have a centralized system to streamline, condense, standardize and easily locate new and existing policies.
The City may use the results of this RFP, at its sole and absolute discretion, for selection of firms and negotiations of contracts no longer than 9 years including options or amendments which may or may not be executed. The City reserves the right to procure services similar or identical to the services specified in this RFP by any other means. No Respondent is guaranteed a contract.
The Department reserves the right to issue multiple contracts to multiple firms that are qualified and that submit a proposal. If multiple contracts are awarded, the Department will monitor the performance of the contractors in accordance with Departmental monitoring procedures and reserves the right to alternate primary providers for non-performance.
To submit a proposal for review respondents must follow the instructions in Section VI "Submission Requirements" and must meet Section IV “Minimum Qualifications Requirements” of the RFP. You can download a complete RFP package at:
