Epic Electronic Health Record

RFP 8-2021  The San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH) implemented the Epic Electronic Health Record [EHR] on August 3, 2019. As is true for many healthcare organizations, COVID-19 has accelerated DPH’s need for telehealth as a safe, yet full-value alternative to in-person visits with providers. This initiative aims to engage a third-party platform to bring DPH, Epic, & telehealth together into an integrated offering. Our primary considerations focus on ease of use for both patients and providers, but also consider the interpretation needs of the patients whom we serve. Additionally, we value speed of implementation and security/compliance with healthcare standards. We are seeking vendors who have prior experience in successfully integrated their platform with Epic to provide Telehealth Solutions at scale.
