REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) 21-2020
VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS

RFQ 21-2020  The San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in search for applicants who will meet the goals of the services requested in this RFQ. The Department encourages competition and encourages collaboration of different agencies to meet the needs of the Vocational Rehabilitation Employment and Training Programs for: (1) Employment Readiness, (2) Clerical and Mailroom Services, (3) Food and Catering Services, (4) Janitorial Services, (5) Information Technology Services, (6) TAY Vocational Services, and (7) Landscaping and Horticulture Services.

 

The Vocational Rehabilitation Employment and Training Programs will serve individuals recovering from mental health or substance abuse issues and those who are interested in vocational training and employment. The primary goal of these programs is to enhance behavioral health consumers’ emotional well-being by engaging them in developing practical skills in the various workforce sectors while using hands-on activities to improve workforce readiness.

 

The selected service provider(s) will be expected to provide all of the activities listed in this RFQ. The degree to which an Applicant meets the minimum qualifications of the RFQ will be determined through a review process to evaluate the Applicant’s qualification materials (see Section V. Evaluation and Selection Criteria).
