REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) 26-2020
SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT’S JOHN O’CONNELL HIGH SCHOOL BEHVIORAL HEALTH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

RFQ 26-2020  The City and County of San Francisco, Department of Public Health’s (SFDPH) is seeking applications from agencies/contractors that can provide San Francisco Unified School District’s John O’Connell High School Behavioral Health Workforce Development Program for unserved and underserved students. The selected service provider(s) will be expected to provide all activities described in this RFQ. Whether an applicant has such qualifications will be determined through the evaluation and selection criteria described in Section V of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ).

 

The proposed program must encompass the following factors:

1. Deliver an effective behavioral health workforce development program that delivers outcomes determined by the selected agency and SFDPH/BHS Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) program.

2. A curricula that includes a) career exposure; b) academic support; c) wellness/wrap around services; and d) youth development opportunities.

3. Establish, operate and manage behavioral health internships with local mental health/ behavioral health industry partners for John O’Connell High School students.

4. Participate in ongoing collaborative efforts with John O’Connell High School’s administration to develop, implement and manage this proposed workforce development program.

 

The proposed SFUSD John O’Connell High School Workforce Development program will serve primarily high school youth in the junior and senior years who are enrolled at John O’Connell High School in the San Francisco Mission district neighborhood.
