Services are provided by California Children's Services for 2,500 infants, children and youth, in San Francisco, with severe medical conditions or physical disabilities.

The staff at California Children's Services are committed to obtain and assist clients obtain pediatric specialty care; Rehabilitative care is provided through the Medical Therapy Unit, including occupational therapy, physical therapy and physician services; and Public Health Nurses provide case management services, including authorization of medically necessary diagnostic and treatment services; coordination of client services are provided by a dental hygienist, social workers, eligibility workers, clerical staff and billers.
