Sex Work & Harm Reduction (Half Day)

This half-day workshop will provide an overview of sex work using a harm reduction perspective. Through thoughtful discussion and interactive activities, workshop participants will explore the risks involved in sex work for workers, management, and consumers.
Harm Reduction Case Management (Full Day)

This course details how to facilitate an integrated prevention counseling session. Critical counseling skills and concepts are explored in depth and role-plays offer multiple opportunities to practice delivering case management and counseling for people who use drugs.
Harm Reduction 201: Putting it Into Practice (Full Day)
May 14, 8:30am-4:30pm, 25 Van Ness Avenue, room 610
This one-day session will explore concrete ways of incorporating principles of trauma-informed care into one-on-one harm reduction work with people who have experienced trauma. We will also explore how spaces and systems can perpetuate stigma and oppression, and how to address these barriers in our organizations.
Safer Drug Use (Half Day)

This half-day workshop will explore how providers across a range of services can engage people who use drugs in conversations about safer drug use informed by harm reduction philosophy and principles that keep people safe and alive.
