Child Health Disability Prevention Follow-up Treatment Program (CHDPT)
The CHIP Hospital and Physician Program sponsors semi-annual provider stakeholders meetings at 30 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102.
Recent participants include representatives of emergency room physicians at CPMC, St. Luke’s Hospital, St. Francis Memorial Hospital, and UCSF Medical Center; the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California; and the University of California, San Francisco at SFGH physicians. Staff from AmeriChoice and the CHIP program may also attend the meetings.
Participating hospital or physician providers, and members of the public with an interest in the CHIP Program, are welcome to attend. The Department of Public Health values this opportunity to solicit advice from the provider community and to receive feedback on program operations and services.
Topics of discussion have been emergency medical services funding initiatives, new SB 12 Maddy Program legislation, implementation of a fee schedule for the CHIP Physician Program, and compliance with HIPAA transaction and privacy regulations.
Because the meetings are informational in nature, there are no voting nor quorum requirements, and notices of meetings are limited in scope. The AB 75 Project now utilizes e-mail broadcasts as an efficient method of notice to interested parties.
If you wish to receive mailings or announcements of future meetings, please contact the AB 75 Project administrative offices at:
